A2A (Agent-to-Agent Protocol)

An open standard for AI agents to discover, delegate to, and collaborate with one another — supported natively by Ngentix.

The Agent-to-Agent protocol is the open standard for interoperability between AI agents, governed by the Linux Foundation. Where MCP handles the vertical connection from an agent to its tools, A2A handles the horizontal connection from one agent to another.

Every Ngentix deployment registers as a first-class A2A agent with a signed agent card that enumerates its capabilities in terms of the Unified Data Model. It can receive task delegations from external agents and delegate sub-tasks out to remote agents.

This makes a Ngentix deployment a full participant in the inter-agent ecosystem, not a closed platform whose agents cannot leave.
